To meet the demand of quick change over and fast set up, KYMC has successfully developed a new generation of Rotogravure Printing Presses, the Gravurejet (GT) Series.
Thanks to the Shaftless Chucking System for print cylinder and sleeve type impression rollers, change over time can be reduced to less than 5 minutes per station, including ink replacement. Furthermore, additional tools are no longer needed.
Independent Servo drives on each station are controlled through Industrial Network System (Ethernet). Incorporated with latest servo drive system and new register controls, they provide extremely accurate control of print registration and allow fast register settings to reduce the scrap to the minimum at beginning of each job run. Reel change is automatic with flying splice operation at maximum production speed.
All major components on the press are sourced from Europe and Japan, guaranteeing reliable and long term machine performance. An internet connection modem is provided for a real time diagnosis connection ensuring trouble free operation regardless of the machine location and time zone.
Our user friendly designed touch screen with operations available in 5 languages can be tailored to integrate with customers very own production management system, maximizing the total production control power. This Microsoft Windows based Operation System includes, Job Memory, Pre-register setting and display, Drying Parameters setting and display, History Trend, Foot Count, Tension setting and display, etc.
An alternative to the Shaftless Chucking System for print cylinder is the Trolley designed printing station. The Trolley comes complete with Ink Tray, Printing Cylinder, Ink Pump, Ink Tank and Splash Guard. This provides another efficient solution for quick changeovers.
