Leo is a microprocessor controlled digital current regulator very
versatile, compact, reliable and accurate. It can be used both as
current regulator in closed-loop systems and as tension controller in
closed-loop and open-loop systems.
In closed-loop systems it works
as web tension controller proportional-derivative, with dancing roller
and potentiometer, while in open-loop systems it is combined with sonar
(servodiameter) or potentiometer.
Thanks to the possibility to cancel any residual magnetism, Leo is able to operate also with low torque applications.
