    The CT is a high-performance machine for casingin of thin books, CD trays, pop-up books and all those products which can hardly be cased-in with a traditional casing-in machine with blades. CT can be equipped with a special kit for books with flexible cases (such as  integral cases), padded cases, etc. The special feature of this machine is that the glue is applied directly on the case and not on the end-sheet of the book block as in the traditional lines. In a different configuration and speed, CT offer to all customer the possibility to casing in thin book in high quality and at low cost thanks to his speed available ( 3.600 / 6.000 / 9.000 Books per hour ). CT line use the latest generation of Technology and thanks to his high quality building is study for work for a long time. With more than 80 machines install around the world in every country, CT represent the leader and the most economic high performance machine in terms of output and book quality.  

Casing in concept

    In generally the traditional way to casing in books consider to use a blade that split the book in the middle. All became complicated when we go to consider to casing in Thin books or books where in the middle there are pieces of board, insert, CD, DVD etc... CT process use to apply the cold glue on cover material through a rubber plate simple to apply and remove. After it the cover pushed by some support is moved on Hotmelt apply station for joint forming. Quantity , position, start and stop is made automatically from machine by his new plc Siemens. The book block in the new model is feeded by pile; the new CT lines could work as stand alone machine and as in line configuration. With 2 meters of roller before, CT is able to work with one operator that feed cover and book block alone at max speed for model CT60. The book block will be separate one by one and insert in the cover on register and immediately after close by one “hand” system that help to cover the book and prepare it to go directly on pressing station and joint forming area.
